1. Add Survey Material
- In your course’s Training Material tab, click Add training material → Survey.
2. Name & Describe
- Enter a Title and optional Description, then click Save Changes.
3. Configure Details
- Switch to the Additional info tab.
- Add a short blurb and choose or upload a thumbnail, then Save Changes.
- On the survey page, click Add question.
- Select a type (e.g. single/multiple choice, text answer, inline choice, Likert scale, section title, or page break).
- Enter your question text and, where relevant, the answer options.
- When adding a question, toggle Make this question mandatory so learners must answer before submitting.
6. Types of Questions
Available question types include:

Description |
1. Single choice |
A single-choice question is followed by a list of possible answer choices. Learners are required to select the option that best answers the question. |
2. Multiple Choice |
A multiple-choice question is followed by a list of possible answer choices. Unlike single-choice questions, multiple-choice questions allow for more than one answer to be selected |
3. Text answer |
A text answer question requires learners to provide a written response to a question. These questions typically ask for a short answer, a sentence, or a brief explanation. |
4. Inline choice |
An inline choice question is a sentence or statement containing one or more blank spaces, where each blank space corresponds to a list of options in a dropdown. Learners are required to select the correct option for each blank space to complete the sentence or statement. |
5. Likert scale |
Learners are asked to indicate their level of agreement or disagreement with a statement by selecting the option that best reflects their opinion. |
6. Title |
Titles can be inserted to allow you to divide the survey into different sections or provide an explanation for the question before users begin answering it. |
7. Page break |
Page breaks allow you to divide the survey into pages. |
